Well, it looks like California is having some trouble. 10% unemployment. Now, do we really want to nationally emulate the kind of active government that California has had?

Yes, by all means, we can't let California set the pace. They're totally winning the war for depravity -and- incompetency by being the most socialist state among us. If only there was a national leader in the White House now who could propel our entire nation ahead of the Left Coasters. Oh wait...

Not only are they looking at high unemployment, they were also for some time having to pay bills, welfare, unemployment, etc., with IOUs.
